Great book for beginners. I only did the first half. The second half moves into more long-term projects, but I decided to move onto a different source of projects.The author writes very clearly and provides lots of examples. The end of chapter problems were a great way to practice what I just learned, so it wasn't just copying the author's examples.

Very comprehensive and perfect for a beginner like me. This goes really into detail and gives you everything you need to know to go from beginner to advanced.
Python is a new programming language for me. I was interested to get acquainted with its designs and features. I recommend this book to anyone interested in programming!
These cover Python 2.7. Python 3.x has syntax differences that will make it difficult for a beginner to follow the examples in these books. It is not advisable for a beginner to learn the older version unless they will eventually be modifying existing code which was written in that older version
What a bundle! These four books cover everything you need to know with respect to coding with Python, and I liked how the material was broken up into each book to make it easier to absorb and not get overwhelmed. My favourite thing about the books was the sheer number of sample code examples provided, and I also liked the use of "Bad Examples" and "Good Examples" to help illustrate a point. I felt like I was being guided step-by-step through the process of using Python, which was perfect for a beginner like me. Would highly recommend this bundle - great value for 4 books.
