I was extremely disappointed with this book. It is very light on practical information and insight and kept repeating the same things in what seemed to be a cynical effort to get the book to at least 100 pages long. In reading the book, it felt like the key information could have been condensed into an extended magazine article. I typically like to highlight the books that I read so that I can go back and reference the key points. My highlighting pen was not troubled by this book.

This book is AMAZING!! I'm a certified life coach looking for advice and guidance for starting my own business. I've been struggling to find resources that address certain issues and give advice about the life coach business. This book has been a gold mine of information. It is well-written, straight forward, and an incredible source for life coaches. Thank you John Daniels for writing this book! I hope you write more!

I have been following so many success and life coaches like Robert Kiyosaki, John Maxwell, Zig Ziglar, Brian Tracy etc and wondered how to become like them. Now, after reading this book I realized that life as a success coach is indeed very rewarding. You can help a lot of people succeed and reach their goals in life. This has inspired me a lot. Also, I learned so many great ideas and tips on how to start one's career as a life coach and the best thing that I've learned is that "life coaching should be results-based." The success of a life coach lies on his sincerity to help others succeed. As mentioned by Zig Ziglar, "you can have everything you want if you help enough people get everything they want." I love this book and will definitely recommend this to everybody.

I really had a great time reading this book. It's a perfect book to read before the year ends. I have always wanted to become a life coach so I can help a lot of people and inspire them. I knew people who ended their lives because they were not able to get some help. I want to make a difference in this world and this book has really helped me on how to get started. This is a very mediocre book. Literally everything in it can be found by reading blog articles and advice posts about becoming a life coach. There is ZERO usable material for actual life coaches inside. Don't waste your time and money. The only people who would gain anything from reading this are those who have absolutely no idea about what becoming a coach entails.

I bought this book to find out more about the growing concept of Life coaching. During the past years it has become a huge industry and I am really intrigued on how a capable life coach is trained. I enjoyed reading about the many types of coaches and how they are qualified. The "construction" of a personal coaching business is presented step by step in explicit details to follow. I don't believe there is any more information required in order to start.

The author makes one feel that life coaching is almost unattainable, or at least it came across that way for me. I mean sure it sounds a bit like a textbook and there are good pieces of information here. I just found it hard to "listen" to his points due to the textbook feel. I learn best with a conversational tone and being given something to inspire me to step out and use it. I am also an experiential learner so for me this book didn't resonate well. It may for another person though it is still a good investment.

Very misleading title and description. This is basically a collection of some information about what it's like to be a life coach. Does NOT contain any methods to apply in coaching people. Hardly a "complete" guide.
